From June 2007, the REACH legislation, which aims at protecting public health and the environment from the risks of dangerous substances and chemicals came into force. This will have implications for every chemical company. All EU companies manufacturing, importing or using chemical substances as such or in preparations or articles will be confronted with aspects of REACH.
